ANNOUNCING FOREST LAKES COLORADO

CLASSIC COMPANIES TO DEVELOP AND BUILD COVETED NORTHWEST COMMUNITY OF FOREST LAKES

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Classic Companies is set to begin construction on the first phase of development within its newest master planned community – Forest Lakes. Forest Lakes, located north of the U.S. Air Force Academy, just one mile west of I-25, is an approximate 900 acre pristine community that sits at an elevation range of 6,800 to 7,200 feet. Nestled in a unique mountain setting with natural vegetation backing up to Pike National Forest and an active creek flowing into two lakes – Bristlecone Lake (65 acres) and Pinon Lake (14 acres) – Forest Lakes is just 5 minutes from Monument, 20 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs, and under 45 minutes from the Denver Tech Center.

A northern El Paso County property located in the foothills west of I-25 is a rarity, and Forest Lakes is poised to become one of the premier Colorado Front Range communities. Development plans also include a system of interconnecting public and private trails and two neighborhood parks, all set within approximately 450 acres of open space to fully enjoy the spectacular nature. “We are very excited about our newest master planned community. Forest Lakes is representative of the quality and desirability we strive for in our master plans. The previous work that was accomplished within this community is exemplary and we are fortunate to be able to honor and continue this vision of excellence and to be in a position to bring this community to market in 2015.” said Doug Stimple, CEO of Classic Companies.

The first release will take place this fall and is comprised of 33 luxury home sites ranging from one to five acres. Pricing for the estate lots ranges from $125,000 to the $300,000’s and home site sales will be managed and marketed by Flying Horse Realty. These luxury home sites are situated on sunny, south-facing slopes covered with native vegetation, scrub oak and spectacular views of Bristlecone Lake, Pike National Forest and Rampart Range. The second release will become available in the 1st quarter of 2016 offering a total of 71 homes to be built on 80 foot wide home sites. These homes will be exclusively crafted by Classic Homes. The third release offers up to 163 homes to be built on 50 foot wide home sites. Classic Homes and one other preferred builder will construct the homes in this release and sales shall commence in the spring of 2016.

Classic will host a grand unveiling event onsite at the future Waterfront Park in October 2015. Interested parties will have the opportunity to experience the property first-hand, visit with preferred builders, and ultimately select and reserve lots. Locals and long-time residents of Colorado Springs and Monument who are familiar with the property and have been anticipating the development of this community, along with those who are just learning about Forest Lakes, are encouraged to join the Forest Lakes interest list to be among the first to learn about the grand opening, lot releases, and development timelines.
